Saw this on Sports Center and had to :lol2:. Hope it all works out for him and the team.

Thanks for posting LRCW, I needed a laugh today. This is hilarious, I thought that he was about through with the one liners and then he said (about the guard's t/o's). " I swear I thought I heard him say Merry Christmas one time when he handed the ball to him (defender)".

Great Stuff.

BTW - Another good thing about this rant, he got his point across without all of the "Bobby Knight" type actions.

Just read that the AD stands behind him and the coach's only regret was calling the one player out specifically.

I haven't heard it yet (at work) but based on the partial transcript that was posted I'll definitely be listening later on today.

He's a comical fellow for sure. I bet he is a riot at social events in his coaching and athtletic circles. Lou Holtz was a lot like that with one liners in his coaching days in football.

As was Jim Valvano. I have a friend that attended a coaching clinic by Jimmy V., he was asking how may wins that the coaches had the previous season. When going down the line and one guy said that he had only 3 wins, Valvano came back....." yes but I bet you have everyone back don't you?". When the coach said yes, Valvano shouts out ..."why the hell do you want them? They were 3-20 !!" :lol2:. The entire room broke out laughing, including the coach.

Ehhh..

I don't need a coach to work on his Saturday night at the Chuckle Hut routine. If it comes as result of normal passion/anger I'm cool with it. All of his schtick was thought out and prepared and then it just snowballed.

Pass.

5 years down the road this has tosh.0 web redemption written all over it.

The coach says he's sorry for calling out one individual player but isn't apologizing for anything else. He stands by what he said and he isn't changing:

Hinson's son-in-law died unexpectedly on Christmas morning.

I am just about to post this on my site. Terrible situation.
