Pass incomplete in the end zone!

Aaaaand Wayne threw for it. Aaaaaand he dropped it despite being wide open. That's what rain will do to you.

Looked like a bad spot for Wayne Co.

Karma pays Wayne back with that sure TD dropped

Belfry 0

Wayne County 0

HALFTIME

Another big catch at the 27 of Belfry.

(These announcers might as well be wearing Wayne Count jersey.)

I hope you are mistaken on your assessment of the play by play guy. :thumb:

Very even half of football... two very solid defenses.

Perkins is a player...Belfry has to stop shooting themselves in the foot as the Pirate D is stonewalling Wayne's run game.

Not scoring there could very well cost Wayne. I thought very poor time management on that series. Save some clock and get the 1st down and then you have at least time for 3 more plays to try and score. Horrible.

The good thing is it should still be a tied game, but, should be 7-7 instead of no score. Both teams gave one away.

Belfry has been lucky, with the turnovers and still locked at zero.

Hopefully they come out and play sound football this half.

I still feel confident Belfry is going to win. That dropped pass is why - it's hard to throw (and catch) in the rain and that's a vital part of Wayne County's offense. Belfry, not so much.

Great football game here, just a little upset with the announcers on the Khsaa stream, should be nuetral, they're obviously pulling for Wayne, kinda hard to listen to

Game living up to it's billing thusfar...two very good teams going to war in nasty conditions

Wayne averaging a mere 1.6 yards per carry... those two deep balls to Perkins have really been the vast majority of their offensive production

I hope you are mistaken on your assessment of the play by play guy. :thumb:

I don't think I am, at this point anyway. They literally cheer when Wayne makes a big pass or when Belfry turns the ball over. Then they make excuses when Wayne Co. misses their end zone pass. I'm a neutral observer in this one, but it just seems really one-sided so far.
