Is that enough enthusiasm for some broadcasting critics? :idunno:

2nd and 12 after the Cards get a stop in the backfield.

3rd and long upcoming.

Announcers say Belfry hasn't thrown a pass yet.

First pass attempt of the day falls incomplete and it looks like Belfry will punt with :19 left in Q3.

That should have been 6 for the Pirates; guy was wide open.

Punt is touched back. Wayne County will get the ball at their own 20. :15 left in Q3.

Wayne County takes a shot deep and Perkins almost comes up with the catch.

2nd and 10 with :08 left.

Pass batted down, intended for Brown.

3rd and 10 with :03 left.

Dangerous time for Wayne County right now.

What a game; definitely what a state championship is supposed to be.

Wayne County's pass is almost picked off (could have been as good as a punt though, as the ball was heaved deep).

That ends the third quarter. At the end of 3, it's Belfry 3, Wayne County 0.

Belfry playing very good defense.. Wayne trying to push the issue a little now

12:00 left in regulation. Wayne County will likely punt and announcers are saying it will be into the wind.

Agree. Really dangerous time for Wayne County.

This is a huge drive for both teams...

Wayne County responds and drops Warren in the backfield. Their defensive line has impressed me in the second half. I was thinking that they were getting gassed, but they've played well, especially for the amount of time they've been out there.

Agree. The amount of time that Belfry will chew on offense is only going to continue putting pressure on Wayne County.

Wayne co last drive was 15 seconds. That is exactly what a running team like Belfry wants.

Great job Wayne...that play on first down was critical
