Illegal formation on Belfry. 2nd and 10 from the 18.

I'm surprised Wayne County didn't decline that one.

Belfry's gotten some favorable spots on this drive.

Nice backbone by Wayne to stiffen and survive... Freshman with clutch kick

3rd & 4 from the 12. 6:21 remaining in Q3. Still 0-0.

Wayne County blows up the option in the backfield and now it's 4th & 10.

Impressed by Wayne County. They are a gritty team. Everytime you think they're on the ropes and about to take the big blow, they answer.

3-0 after a 25 yard kick by Belfry. That makes it 3-0. 5:22 left in Q3.

25 yard field goal by Belfry,3-0.

It is so cool to see Belfry hit a filed goal.

Speaking of field goal kickers for Belfry, at the Pike County bowl this year I met the former kicker for Belfry.

A big lineman like player, who I.M.O. since I have been following Kentucky high school ball has been the best kicker in Pike County.

Brown of Wayne County takes the kickoff out to the 31.

Wayne County looking to answer, now trailing 3-0.

5:19 left as the Cards begin their first posession of the half.

35 Yrd field goal. I think it was spotted at the 25 on the hold

Guffey on the keeper.

Guffey to Garner on the completion to get a first down, Cardinals out to their 41. 4:27 remaining in Q3.

Guffey to Perkins and they have the ball out to the 49. 3rd and 2.

Wayne County is really airing it out on this drive.

Guffey keeps it, but doesn't get the conversion. Wayne County to punt.

Pirates get the ball at the 13 as they start their second possession of the half.

2:37 remaining in Q3.

Does Wayne not have a running back? Geez !! There QB is too slow to be your primary running option.

Austin Hatfield with a huge run for the Pirates, crosses midfield and gets down to Wayne's 35.
