Why would they move 6 games when they could just move 3?

There could be an issue with when they have rented the stadium. While they have reserved it for Friday and Saturday, WKU could be using it for any type of function on Sunday. I don't know if its being used, but I'm almost certain moving state tournament events around is a much bigger deal than simply saying we'll play on Sunday instead of Friday.

I'd think they'd consider people who've already booked hotels for one night as well.

 

If I'm WKU, I'd bend over backwards to accommodate the KHSAA, as they could easily move it other places.

That would seem to be a logistical challenge. For the sake of discussion, however, you have to allot 2.5 hours per game. You also have to allot at least thirty minutes to warm up and thirty minutes to clear the field afterwards. They currently do the games in four hours windows - you might could get it down to 3.5 hour windows. I just don't see how six in one day is possible.

And I think they will. Your first point on hotel accommodations, etc. was part of my reasoning that changing things around likely won't happen.

I still wish my Tigers were playing that 11AM Saturday game. Bundle up and make the trek.

The closer to Friday and Saturday we get the more they're calling for freezing rain/sleet Friday with Snow and ice Saturday from Paducah along the Ohio river all the way north and east of Cincinnati.

Yes those are some very high snow totals in that European model which is likely a stretch. The NAM model I still haven't seen yet but should be available tomorrow. Also it's Tuesday night and western KY(bowling green I think is included) has already been issued a weather storm watch for Thursday and Friday. The rest if the state will likely be impacted Friday and Saturday by this storm. Could be some hard traveling conditions around much of the commonwealth this weekend.

Pretty sure they are streaming online...they have in the past. I have also heard they have someone new other than Ihigh, but I could have imagined that.

As a young kid I recall the title being played despite a winter storm, it was 76, 77 or 78. I still recall the drive home down the Bluegrass Parkway and WAKY Parkway and all the cars that were off the road and the travel was o so slow in the conditions but the games were not canceled. That was a long time ago but that was what they did that year
