I don't think Highlands fans are bored with their own success necessarily. For an example of what I'm talking about, look at the number of fans who post on here regularly and there are probably more from Highlands than any other school.

I would hate to be the guy who follows Mueller when he eventually hangs it up though, as it's very hard to follow a legend.

Looking at the poll question and the thread title, I think some of the voters are confused,

Poll question asks if you are going to the game? I see several posters I know that are going to the game that answered the question NO.

I think those No's were answering the thread title question. JPA, Pat Heaton, Keyplayer, etc - Am I right?

Ahhhh. The ole bait and switch question...:thumb:

For some reason this thread reminded me of a SNL skit from the 70s or 80s when they had a guest host who had been denied an emmy for many years from the show he/she was on. It seemed like everyone on SNL had an emmy and they had them laying around and using them for proping doors open or something like that. It was pretty funny, you had to be there. Maybe Dale uses his awards for cracking open nuts or something.

I'd love to see that skit.

I am officially old. How did I miss that? I used to have a sixth sense about such things. Oh well.

By the way, nice football.

I'd love to see that skit.

I loved SNL but got away from it in the mid 80s. Still cracks me up when I catch it although I'm not in tune with some of the more topical skits.

Maybe a little bored. I would like to see HHS, volunteer to move to the 6A class, and play teams on their level. They would no longer be bored or complacent playing the likes of St. X, TRINITY, MALE, or the SCOTT CNTYs of the state. Instead of a yearly scrimmage against the ROCKS, let them play a game that actually counts. I believe this would put the excitement back into their fans, if it indeed is missing.

Just glad to see you realize they are on their level.

HHS scrimmages T and gets their butts handed to them

Each time. Let's not crown them the gods of football.

It's a scrimmage. If they played now, I think the Birds would have them for dinner.:thumb:

2012 : HHS 60 - Scott Co. 37 :sssh:

I know they did, no need to look up score, they won. I was referring to playing on a regular basis. Well if the program is so dominate, and fans a little bored, go up in classification. Get what I'm saying genius.

Well you cannot just simply jump classes now can you? The program has been pretty successful for quite some time I think at whatever level their school size dictates. A school the size of Scott County should be playing for state titles on a regular basis and not once every 20 years. Maybe they need to work like the basketball team and find jobs at Toyota for parents so that kids can move in for 3 or 4 years and then move out so someone else can move in. Enjoy your trip to BG and I will enjoy my seventh in a row.

1) Don't see too many HHS fans saying they're bored, just some posters asking if they are, which is a fair question.

2) Seems like people have posted that it's not as easy to move up in classification as it used to be. Something about geographical constraints related to the availability of members in both the current class and the class requested but I don't remember the details.
