They've been below the league average for attendance every year since 2003, the year the GABP opened. They were 10th out of the 15 NL teams last season.

No one, except maybe plantman, has said Votto isn't worth that. What we've said, and accurately I might add, is that he isn't worth the $20M+ a year he'll be raking in when the extension kicks in. I'd give Choo $15M a year for a 4 year deal. If he doesn't take it, so be it, but I'd offer it to him. If he doesn't, they need to lock up Latos long-term.

Leake is making WAY too much money through arbitration. Ludwick's deal stinks. Hanigan at $4 million? Never even been a full-time guy, so they are trying to trade him, but still, that is hilarious. I care about his OBP, and his OPS. He's fantastic. He's always been one of the best at getting on base, no way does that all of a sudden change. 2) I said from day 1, I understand why they did the Votto deal, but that it's a bad contract. 3) Completely agree about Latos. 4) I'd let Frazier walk the first chance he gets. Way overrated by the Cincinnati fanbase (much like BP IMO). 5) Ludwick should be released or traded this offseason, and Hanigan is getting traded. Count on it. 6) Agree with your last point about financial issues. Walt's time here has been average at best, and with some of the contract's he's given out, it could be a while before they recover.
