November 7, 201312 yr Well those are the rates among individual professions. There's no telling how many marriages there are among those professions as compared to the number of total marriages in the U.S., which could completely change those percentages around. While the rate is highest among choreographers, there can't be many of those folks out there. Wait a minute. I'm still confused. If the highest rate on the profession list is way less than 50% and the national rate is something like 50%, something doesn't add up. Either the divorce rate for unemployed people is about 2,000%, or the study looks at a given slice of time (maybe the last 5 or 10 years).
