I think they trade Homer and BP (not together, mind you), and lock up Latos to a long-term deal. Hopefully they get a solid bat/high level prospect in return for Homer. :idunno:

 

Keeping Latos long term in that situation would be key.

From what I hear Bailey will be traded. I would always spend money on top of rotation pitcher over a player like Choo.

 

They have to trade Bailey, they really have no choice. Not only will he be far too expensive for a #3 starter in their payroll range, but he has NO desire to sign a long-term deal here.

My thought is that the Yanks are going to go nuts.

If I'm the Reds, I see if the Yankees would do a BP for Brett Gardner deal.

 

I'd then call the Angels and see what Homer would bring in return....

I don't know, part of me thinks that kind of personality is all about the attention. And drama gets attention.

Regular season hasn't started....pretty sure he will be a Red on opening day though. Sounds like they tried to get rid of him and couldn't get any takers.
