Clinton will be in KY to campaign for her, Clooney isn't likely.

November 8, 201312 yr PS - just got an invitation to a reception for Candidate Grimes next Friday here in Maysville. I can be a gold donor for $500, a silver donor for $250 or a bronze donor for $100. As a retiree on a fixed income, I may have to be a tin donor.

November 8, 201312 yr I don't even dislike Bill. I disagree with some of his politics. My point is the people who like Bill are already going to vote for her. Three things that Clinton could add for Grimes: 1. Money - People will shell out dollars at big ticket fundraisers with Clinton appearing. More dollars from outside the state will come to Grimes if Clinton is on board and working for her. 2. Legitimacy - If there is any doubt about Grimes as a serious threat, Clinton appearing will solidify her as someone Mitch better get off the bankroll and fight. That helps her add money and votes. 3. Voter Turnout - I agree, Clinton might not get many, if any, KY voters to change their vote to Grimes. But he will help generate momentum and enthusiasm among potential Grimes voters and get the vote out. That could be a very big factor in an off year election.

Dems will vote for Mrs. Grimes, but will Tea Party types turn out to vote for Mitch in the general election? Besides rallying Dems, Bill Clinton has the star power to get the female voters (in Ft. Thomas, for instance) to take a closer look at the female Democratic candidate.

Rand Paul will campaign in conservative areas with Mitch. Who's endorsement is much more important in Ky than Clinton.
