Not sure why he gets so much hate. I've always enjoyed him in the booth. He and Buck were very good together.

I wasn't a fan of his, but there was always something about him and Buck in the booth together during the World Series that just sounded right.

He is 72 years old so it is about time.

 

He broke into baseball with the Cardinals in 1959. WOW! He had an active role in baseball for 54 years.
