I'm confused - which team was it that dominated St. X and kept them down the whole game and which one was the one that blew a lead and needed a late comeback for the win?

Back to the original question, is Male#1 in KY?

Based on the small sample of games I've seen this year, BG vs Lex Catholic, BG vs X, Male vs X I & II, and Male vs T, I like BG from a talent standpoint, but I've grown to like Male's Coach Wolfe as a gamer. I say BG wins 41-38 as Bayse hits the crossbar from 52 yards out and bounces back as time runs out.

At this point I would say BG is tops but I think Male could give them a heck of a game. I don't think the distance between the two is as far as many may think it is.

I haven't seen anyone saying there is a huge difference between the two. People just think BG is better. I'd expect a great game between BG/Male and BG/Highlands and I believe BG would win both. Not blow them out. But win, yes.

I hope to see both Male and Bowling Green in the state finals next weekend. Obviously they won't be playing each other but I'm hoping to get a better judgment of each team then.

How about a 5A vs 6A game on the 14th.

It's been my experience, to be the best, you need to win the state championship. Bowling Green and Highlands are both defending champs in their respected classes and still playing. Male, still has 2 games remaining, if and when they Win the 6a title, then yes. But for now, I will go with Bowling Green.

I have not seen both teams play. But, for now, I think the body of work tilts the scales in Male's favor. Two wins over Trinity, two wins over X, a win over Meade, and a win over Butler. BG has wins over Blackman, X, and McCallie as signature wins.

Trinity is not that great this year so to say because Male beat them twice does nothing for me. BG is the best team period.

We are talking about the best team in the state period. Not top ten. Who cares if they are top ten? How many losses did they have this year? And don't start with the strength of schedule crap because SOS don't mean squat if you loseost of those games.
