UL defense steps up & plays really well on a night when the offense was lacking.

4 INTs and 8 sacks later by Rutgers, UL holds on by 14 punching in a late TD. The Rutgers QB is terrible, he is not a QB he is an athlete trying to play QB. UL defense played well, but UL missed a chance to make a big statement on National TV. I agree with Pollack if this was a top 15 (SEC like) team UL losses this game.

I think UCF is going to be difficult for UL. Should be the only challenge remaining for the Cards.

Just in from the game. Don't really have much to say about it. Defense played like men today, huge game from them. Bridgewater was off. Shawn Watson is going to cost Louisville a game. The offense is entirely too predictable, and that guy refuses to throw the ball more. Makes my blood boil. Easily should have had two more touchdowns, but play calling kept that from happening.

It's just mind numbing. Run on first down, nothing. Run on second down, nothing. 3rd and 9, hope for a blown coverage and/or open receiver. Parker doesn't play, he calls fade routes to one of the smallest receivers on the field. Run play action... We have two very good tight ends, use them. I understand trying to have a balanced attack, but if a team is very good in run defense and terrible at pass defense, you throw the freakin' ball.

I'll admit that I didn't watch the game, but Teddy threw for over 300 yards and completed 67% of his passes. I don't really see how this game cost him a chance at the Heisman. That being said I don't really think that he had much of a chance to win the award this year anyhow. The lack of any marquee games would likely hurt his chances in my opinion.

Man at least your a realistic UL fan, the other guy isn't on here yet explaining how this was a great win against a quality team.

 

Rutgers had less than 100 yards for a good part of the first half and their QB is terrible, he looks like a converted 3rd string WR. If they scoop the ball up and score who knows what happens in the 4th.

 

Teddy did make some big time corner throws, Perry is your best RB by far, you all are wasting time on Dyer. I know UL had a WR out and one got hurt. Teddy lead his team to a W.. It would be like 12-7 NFL week victory, not pretty but a W.

 

I wonder if the UL players are hearing all the hoopla of they have no shot at a title game, they've looked a lil flat lately.

5. Shawn Watson is killing this team. Terrible play calling. UL offense is at it's best runing not huddle Teddy is able to get in a flow. Double Tight 2 backs will always get 9 in the box. Every time this team is inside the 10 we play for PAR!

 

I hope Coach Bedford punches Shawn Watson in the throat! OPEN up the PLAY BOOK. Stop trying to play 3 running backs. Brown best one we have give him majority of the carries!
