Broncos 51 Cowboys 48

Featured Replies

Does this mean the Broncos are more beatable than originally thought? Or is it an example of them taking someone's best shot and still finding a way to win? Are the Cowboys underrated?

I think the Cowboys can beat any team in the league, but they just couldn't finish it tonight.

There are many games I'd be more inclined to roll with you, but this isn't one. If you want to boil the game down to one series at the end, then so be it. That's you looking for the worst. They were in that position because Romo carried them there, plain and simple. He threw for the most yards a Cowboy ever has and he made one mistake. So basically your argument is that he should've been flawless - not even Manning was that.

Manning was good enough to over come his mistake, which did not occur with the game on the line. That's seems to be the difference with Little game and elite quarterbacks.

Either way it doesn't matter the defense could have stepped up but failed to do so.

Like I said, there are many games I'd agree with you, this isn't one. I'm not telling you Romo is elite, I'm not telling you that you don't have grounds for your feelings in past games. What I am telling you, is that Romo was the only reason they were even in a position to fail, and was that close to a literally perfect game. He almost won it alone because he damn sure didn't have any help from the defense.

Manning got no help from his defense and over came that.

I am not saying Tony did not play well. What I am saying is once again with the game on the line he failed.

Murray was wide opened all alone by him self

right in front of Little Game

Little game opted to throw the ball to a rec that has three guys close to him

nobody but Little Game makes that throw

Actually if you wanted to watch highlights of all the INT's thrown this week you'd see a lot more QB's naming that same throw.

I amfar from upset over Dallas losing with Littlegame running the show.

Cowboys fans sadly have come to accept it.

I would take Romo over Dalton though in a heart beat. Yeah Romo has to learn how to handle end of games better. However he plays the end like he does the whole game, he does take chances and those chances he takes does pay off a lot too during the game but just somehow always catches up with him at the end lol. There were some throws he made in the game for why they scored 48 that Dalton wouldn't have attempted to throw because he won't dare to throw in a tight window. Romo and how he plays gave them a chance at the end. I would love to have a guy like that with the talent the Bengals have on offense, because I am at every Bengals home game and I see Bengal receivers open by NFL standards and Dalton is to afraid to pull the trigger.

I feel for Romo. Due to his past failures he will never catch a break but I guess that comes with the territory when you are the QB of America's team. The Coboys' fans always want more but not too long ago Aikman retired and their QB situation was a wreck for years.

Tony Romo showed the world why I will always call him LITTLE GAME TONY BLOMO

Yeah it's his fault they lost the game.

And that, folks, is why people don't trust the Dallas Cowboys or their quarterback.

On an afternoon when Tony Romo threw for a career-best 506 yards and had the Cowboys this close to pulling off an improbable upset of the Denver Broncos, he did what he does all too often: commit a game-deciding mistake.

Romo's interception late in the Broncos' 51-48 victory determined the outcome, and while interceptions happen, they happen too often to Romo in big games.

In each of the past two years, for instance, he and the Cowboys had an opportunity to win the NFC East on the last day of the season ... and twice they failed. One reason: Romo. He committed five turnovers in those contests.

Romo can't go out and make tackles for his defense. He can't get yards as a running back.

But he has to do better than his performance late in the game with the score tied if he wants to be considered an "elite QB" without question.

So you put no blame on the D for giving up 51 points?
