I've NEVER said CCH lost solely because of injuries. CCH at full strength is less talented than the Birds. It COULD be a good game just like we've seen over the last two years when HHS had the better team but CCH played them either down to the very last play or kept it within 13 or 14.

 

SK is better than THIS CURRENT INJURED CCH team. Again, at full strength it would be a very good game ie nail-biter.

I was talking about THIS YEAR. At full strength I believe SK is still better than CCH and it wouldn't be a nail biter- We agree to disagree.

 

The fans don't make the schedule. The question may be, would your AD schedule HHS if they didn't have to.

That could very well be true, but I can only go by what I saw. They could not put away a lessor team even though they outsized them tremendously. I was impressed with SK's size, but not with their ability on that particular night. But everyone can have an off night, especially with you have 5,877 couples lines up for the homecoming competition.:lol2:

That SK team played its worst game ever. The SK team that played Ryle would beat any team in the state!

Bad position to be as a fan. I got my wish this year SK playing Conner. I really wish we played CovCath and Highlands even if it was just a scrimmage.

Didn't Conner beat a very good CovCath team last year? SK handled Conner this year and Conner will probably beat CovCath this year also.

 

I think reaching back into previous seasons usually means little in high school ball. But if you want to go back to last year, here are three scores to chew on:

 

Highlands 60 Scott Co. 37

Scott Co. 56 Simon Kenton 6

Scott Co. 47 Simon Kenton 9 (playoffs)

 

Come on now SK fans, get real with yourself. Your head coach knows SK isn't there yet. Keep working and you never know. But not yet and it isn't close.

Would SK win, I doubt it. Would SK make it a game and probably the closest game in NKY HHS would have all season 100% yes.

CCH plays Moeller, St X, etc so I'd imagine they would still schedule HHS but who knows...

I am not a Cov Cath fan, but I would be shocked if Cov Cath didn't keep Highlands on the schedule. We may find this out in the next couple years.
