That's not saying much, and I apologize to my Ryle friends.

You realize SK was the first team to score 39 points on Ryle in the firs half? SK scored 15 in the first quarter and 24 in the second quarter. Scott County, Conner, Shelby County, Cooper and the big Ohio school Sycamore couldn't do that. :D

That may be the difference between cocky and crazy. Let's not forget that HHS has a history of beating schools in their class with a 6A roster.

I suppose the same could be said for SK, 9 of the 14 wins over the last two years are against 5A or lower teams. Against 6A teams the record is 5-4.

Over an injury riddled 2A school? Ummmm...I wouldn't be smiling too big about that.

That injury riddled little 2A school will win another state championship!

You say that but in your heart you know it isn't so, as do we.

I wish SK could play them every week! It would be awesome if they could play after the state finals but I know SK has to many players playing basketball I am sure Highlands does to.

I hope this doesn't upset some

I will say this and please SK fans don't take it the wrong way.

I only saw SK play 1 time so far and it was against a Cooper that is down this year as many have said. If was also the first loss that cooper should of lost. By the 4th qtr Coopers DLine was gassed and they couldn't stop anyone the last half of that qtr. with that said it was only a 1 score difference thru the majority of the game.

I like Kuntz but I thought he was outplayed by Ludwig. Kuntz lived mostly on short passes and missed the deeper passes a bunch. Ludwig hit short, medium, and deep passes consistently but had a lot of drops due to the monsoon the teams were playing in. Kuntz didn't have many dropped passes because too many were uncatchable.

SK had a better and bigger line on both sides which is their strongest facet of their team. Their WR's are good but not any better than what they faced that night.

SK is very good up front and that is what will get them deep in the playoffs this year. SK is a good team, wish them well but the game I saw after all the talk about them I thought they'd have a running clock by halftime against Cooper. Didn't happen. It was a 1 score game basically until the 4th.

Your wrong on the one score difference.

1st Quarter 7-6, 2nd Quarter 14-6, 3rd Quarter 21-7 and 4th Quarter SK scored 15 points 36 to 6.

No you don't, you don't want to go 0-15.

I think reaching back into previous seasons usually means little in high school ball. But if you want to go back to last year, here are three scores to chew on:

Highlands 60 Scott Co. 37

Scott Co. 56 Simon Kenton 6

Scott Co. 47 Simon Kenton 9 (playoffs)

Come on now SK fans, get real with yourself. Your head coach knows SK isn't there yet. Keep working and you never know. But not yet and it isn't close.

You forgot HHS v Collins last year and SK v Collins this year.

Your wrong on the one score difference.

1st Quarter 7-6, 2nd Quarter 14-6, 3rd Quarter 21-7 and 4th Quarter SK scored 15 points 36 to 6.

Weird scoring. someone has 6, then 7, then back to 6.

Weird scoring. someone has 6, then 7, then back to 6.

Sorry typo. :D

Forget it, he's on a roll.

Highlands will lose to Collins this year.

Your wrong on the one score difference.

1st Quarter 7-6, 2nd Quarter 14-6, 3rd Quarter 21-7 and 4th Quarter SK scored 15 points 36 to 6.

Yes but the score was 1 score until near the end of 3rd.

Either way it was the only game so far this year that Cooper defiantly deserved to lose. SK is very good.

Highlands will lose to Collins this year.

Since your average in predicting HHS outcomes would get you sent down to the minors if you were a ML ballplayer, I feel a lot better.
