In one word 'NO' Until football becomes the first "F" of the four F's in Independence they will continue to be a good program, but not a great one. Need to step up the schedule if they want to earn everyone's respect as an up and coming program. Throttling the Holy Cross' of the world does not get you much. Conner should be a good test for them this week as was Collins in Week 1. Hopefully they can rid themselves of the A and AA programs on their schedule in the next few years and see where they stand as a program.

And what does that get you. A scrimmage is exactly that, a scrimmage. Most if not all schools do not scout and/or scheme to stop their opponent in a scrimmage.

In short, yes. Their numbers are exploding and if someone would look closely they are evolving and getting better top to bottom every year.

I have looked at about five threads since logging on and in four of them you are on there commenting about SK's 'big' win tonight. I know this is a program defining moment for you but you need to get over yourself. Trolling around every thread running it is a bit over the top. There is a thread specific to the subject. Putting a smiley face on it just confirms the Tool factor.

 

As to the question of this thread, yes SK is getting better on all levels. Still a long way from one of the best. 'One of the best' wins it's district regularly, sustains that same level of success through the playoffs, makes frequent trips to the finals, and on the occasional down year falls in the semi finals. They also seek out challenges both inside and outside of their region to test themselves against other highly successful programs, and win.

 

What 'one of the best' does not do is go trolling on multiple threads boasting about a win at the frosh level.

Somebody sounds bitter!

No doubt in my mind they are building something. They need to start playing competition that is much better to get more relevance in the state. Gotta schedule the big boys down state more regularly or cross the river and play those that the 'birds and blue Colonels play. They appear to be ready for that. Gotta get the 1A-4A's (except the two previously mentioned) off the schedule. Good losses to those will do more good for getting better, than playing smaller schools. They will win their share, also.
