September 30, 201313 yr I wish the final episode was longer but it seemed to tie up all loose ends. Best part was when he shoots Jack in the head and when he hangs up with Lydia. Giving Jesse the ability to kill Todd was also very nice to see. Saddest scenes were when he went back and watched Flynn get off the bus and when he saw Holly one last time.
September 30, 201313 yr I have watched the entire series over the past month and I'm glad I did, what a great show. One of the better series finales I've watched. Loved the Lydia angle, sure didn't see that coming.
September 30, 201313 yr Author I saw the Lydia coming from a mile away. Also called Badger and Skinny Pete as soon as I saw the brake lights on the car. Thought this episode did a nice job tying up all the loose ends. Was kind of upset that Grey Matter came into the picture last week toward the end of the episode, but thought they did a nice job even making them a part of the finale. Nice job Vince Gilligan. Didn't think it would be one that I thought ended well after the past few weeks, but it was.
September 30, 201313 yr Watching the repeat and I just remembered that the last day was Walt's birthday. Fitting since it started on his birthday in the first season.
September 30, 201313 yr It appears that I am like a few other people in that I have watched every episode of Breaking Bad in the last two weeks. I have not read everything about Breaking Bad, but I have one question. Breaking Bad was listed as Comedy-Drama. Where was the comedy?

In general it was not a comedy but I found humor in several episodes, Saul was a riot at times as was Hank.

September 30, 201313 yr I'm in the two week boat. In general it was not a comedy but I found humor in several episodes, Saul was a riot at times as was Hank. I agree that there was a random humorous moment, but I think categorizing it as a comedy-drama is a stretch. Like I said, I have not read much of the Breaking Bad threads, but has there ever been a more polite, well mannered, cold blooded killer than Todd? He is the Eddie Haskell of psychopaths.

September 30, 201313 yr Saul, Hank, Jesses moron dealers, plenty of comedy I thought. Just not enough to be called at comedy-drama. I would say the humor was sporadic at best.

This was the best series finale ever, have had my doubts about Gilligan over the last few weeks and have said as much here, but what a way to end what has to be one the best 5 series in the history of TV. Wish anyone that hasn't seen this series here at BGP would give it a chance, what a show

I would have to think that if the finale was Walt's fantasy that he would have received a warmer reception for Skyler and would have actually got to speak to his son.
