Agree or Disagree?

Let me say something I think Caldwell at the top is right. This Caldwell team played in the state middle school Semifinals a few years ago and I remember watching them play, very well together, and thinking if these boys finish growing and stay together this team is gonna be really good.

How wide does everyone think the gap is between Caldwell County and other teams?

After a second look I notice alot of teams that had good middle school teams the last few years, should be interesting in 2a this year. I think NCC may be ranked too high this early.

I think Caldwells next best is Somerset and its a decent size gap. All depends on how Somerset meshes together, they have a 2 year run of no so great Middle school teams and those kids should be Soph/JR/SR this year.

I think 2A may have the strongest collection of really solid teams with a chance to win it all. The other classes you can narrow it down to just a few.

I agree, nice job

Are you saying had a 2 year run of not so great middle school teams? Because both this year's senior and sophomore classes won state championships on the middle school level.

I think so, too. As of opening day, it wouldn't surprise me to see any one of several of these teams playing in Bowling Green. It will be interesting to see if it plays out that way.

I am very glad to see the love my Tigers are getting this year. I hope and pray that they stay safe and play well together and no one gets hurt. If all of that happens, this could be a special season for Caldwell County, the community and the team. Good luck to all of the teams, but especially my beloved Tigers!

Middle school??? Come on, fellas.

You say that, but lets look back. Bowling Green for example, the JR/SR on that team were back to back state champs at Middle school, and the Soph/Freshman all made State semi finals in either 7th or 8th grade, ironic that they are the best team in 5A right now?

Lets look at Somerset for example, they have won state championship I think 3 times in the last 5 or so years, they are doing very well. Caldwell Co, made a state Semi Finals Trip in Middle School, now the high school team is ranked #1 at 2A.

Owensboro Cath and CAL have both had Regional Finals and State Semi finals appearances in middle school the last few years.

I could go on, your point of "Its just middle school isnt valid, when some of teams who did well at middle school a few years ago, are now at the top in High School.
