Over the last six weeks, you gauranteed a tatoo for your forehead if Fairview beat Ashland, welched on that one, called for Flynn's head, acted like you were a big tomcat fan, denied being a bandwagon jumper, started crying for Flynn's head again, and now your badmouthing flynn in our thread. Your buddy goliath is just as bad.

 

Dodd is our coach, we like him, and we don't need you to act like you know better than our coach as well as your's.

I have said all along that Russell is not the favorite to win the Region as many Devil fans keep trying to say. Russell started slow and now they are healthy, but they still haven't proven to me that they are one of the top 3. Of course they have a chance as do other teams, but they aren't in my top 3 favorites. The Boyd Co. game should shed some light on their current progress. This game could have been a fluke, but it sure doesn't help the Devil posters argue their case.

Clark did not play against Boyd Co and Vanhoose was gimpy last night. That being said Greenup won the game because they played harder and smarter. As for being one of the best teams in the region, I still feel they are. They are also one of the more inconsistant.

I watched the game close to the Greenup bench, and I still do not see much coaching from Hicks! He whines on every call and gets in the head of weak minded referees. Greenup's kids flat out whooped Russell tonight, and they wanted it more and did EVERYTHING BETTER than Russell did. But what made me sick the most was the way Russell's Big 3 don't seem to want to play on many nights. They are some of the most talented kids in the region and they rely on that too much rather than playing hard (no heart). How many times did Kasey Clark nonchalantly jog up the court barely even controlling the ball as he "directed" the offense. Paethetic, if you ask me. I don't see how anybody can blame Dodd for anything that has been happening with this team, because you can't coach HEART. Russell got beat in every phase in this game and yes they did shoot around 25% (unexcusable), but nobody should take anything away from the Riley kid. He was the best player on the court last night.

I just hope that Russell can turn this thing around and start taking shots within Dodd's offense and not trying to rely on talent alone.

By far the best game plan I have ever seen against a great bunch of kids from Russell. Congrats to the Greenup coaching staff and the players for wanting and executing the best game I have ever seen Greenup play....

That being said, Greenup totally dominated the game from the start.

How many times did Kasey Clark throw up on Friday!! About 5 and 3 times during the game. He probably shouldn't have gone to school , but I guess his Small Sized heart allowed him not to play hard and my guess is that you never ever left a game bleeding terribly on your back by diving for a loose ball on the stage into the band. His back was cut so bad he finished the game with #11 jersey on. BigDog On Campus, You ned to THINK before you make comments about kids you know nothing about!!!!!!!!!! :madman:

A key play in the game was the flagrant elbow foul on Clark. Devils had just cut the lead to six. Clark had one of his better games but the unnecessary elbow really hurt the Devils. Playing hard and smart is good but that was definitely not a smart play.

Maybe Clark was fouled first on the play and the refs always see the retaliation! It happened right in front of me I was on the second row I could have grabbed his jersey from my seat. I thought he cleared the ball after the hand check was not called. And the next Greenup Co. possession got no points as Clark drew the charge on Bradley out front! Greenup was just better than Russell Friday night!
