Eric Deters Records Himself Getting A Ticket

Featured Replies

From the news, it sounds like the public is overwhelmingly supporting the officers. I hope he does have his day in court. Can't wait to hear what s judge says to him.

So he got bent out of shape because he was pulled over for going 20 over the limit?

You're relevant Mr. Deters, don't worry. We all know who you are.

Eric is a publicity hound and a expletive. All the best Eric. Pay your 20 mile over the limit ticket and get a life.

Bottomline: he knows how to get and keep his name in the spotlight, even if he is a "butt-clown".

I know the officer who pulled him over. He is an absolute stand up guy and was not going to give him a ticket. He's a high ranking officer and a member of the SWAT team. He didn't deserve to be treated like that cause Deters feels he can speed because its midnight and he can choose his own speed. My best friend is also a city cop over there, they know how important you are to the community Mr. Deters and will make sure they can do all they can to make sure your safe on the roads.

What discipline did the department dish out to the officer that pulled him over?

Do you feel he needed it?

No, however, he did lose his cool and use profanity.

Do you feel he needed it?

Yes, minimum suspended, personally think he should be fired.

I see you don't just overreact in the Reds threads.

That's insane, the diva was allowed to go off on the officer because he was caught breaking the law during the blue lights across the Bluegrass campaign, even though the officer wasn't going to give him a ticket.

I spoke with my Independence friend who backs him up on calls and vice versa, nothing so far and hopefully nothing at all. The officer shouldn't have used profanity but there's only so much you can take from someone who broke the law.

Its not an overreact at all. He is trained to handle those type situations calmly and respectfully, regardless of how he is treated, he didn't do so. You just can't drop an fbomb in that situation if your an officer, can't. He did should be punished accordingly.

Saying he should be terminated is a gross overreaction.

Let us know please.

At a minimum I think his super needs to have a ten second discussion with him about it.
