July 10, 201313 yr Need to scrape a few games together before the All Star game, to avoid having to dig out of a huge hole the 2nd half of the season.
July 10, 201313 yr Wow, that looks like an easy one to make. Maldonado tagged Robinson on the shoulder behind home plate. One of the worst calls I have seen this year.
July 10, 201313 yr From wikipedia on MLB replay: As part of the new collective bargaining agreement between MLB's owners and players union, and pending approval by the umpires union, two additional elements will be added to the replay rules. Instant Replay will expand to include fair and foul calls and balls that are caught, or trapped by the player catching the ball. It will also expand interference reviews beyond the home run boundary to all walls. If that is the rule, Robinson would still be out. I think replay should be allowed anytime it impacts whether a run scores. I thought the ball bounced out of play in LF anyway. That should be reviewable.

July 10, 201313 yr Not that they are going to change it, but how can you sit there like a knot on a log and not argue the call that wasn't really close? Get tossed, anything to try a spark... IMO Dusty didn't come out to argue because there was absolutely no argument from Robinson. No hands in the air, no actual argument, nothing. If Robinson argues in any way shape or form and Dusty doesn't come out, then I think you have a point.
July 10, 201313 yr Happy to see Leake take the bump today. Without looking back at your track record on Leake, how often did you think you would say the quoted statement in your life?

Add that to Robinson not reacting and there's your answer...
July 10, 201313 yr Without looking back at your track record on Leake, how often did you think you would say the quoted statement in your life? Twice.
July 10, 201313 yr My son says yesterday, "we have a pitcher named Homer, that's like having a running back named Fumble".
July 10, 201313 yr Who would have thought at the beginning of the year that we would need Leake to be the team's "stopper"?
July 10, 201313 yr Who would have thought at the beginning of the year that we would need Leake to be the team's "stopper"? Not me.
