Clips don't want to part with either. Not sure how they're planning on making trades if they don't want to give up their backup PG and an average-at-best center.

Don't get me wrong, Howard is a good ball player, but he whines and cries if he doesn't get his way. Look at Orlando, he got both his Head Coach and GM fired then turned around and got traded to the Lakers then he started having problems with Kobe. I'd take Griffin over Howard any day

If Griffin's not dunking or rebounding then he isn't giving you anything. His shot's came a long way, but he still doesn't really have a post game outside of just dunking. At least Howard at worst is going to be solid down low and rebound/defend the rim.

 

 

I could see that trade working out for both teams. Bledsoe could run a fast paced offense that suits Griffin's game, and Gasol could go back to playing down low. If they get Kobe back even at 80% of the level he was playing last season, and find a quality wing to run with them it should be a team that competes for a title until Kobe retires. Basically boils down to whether or not they would want to build their future around Dwight or Griffin.

 

 

With that said I don't look for a Clips/Lakers trade to happen. Most believe Sterling would never do a deal that may help the Lakers, and feeling seems to be the same from the Lakers. Just doesn't seem likely those two would deal.

The Clippers' beat writer wrote an article about it in April. Pretty much said that Griffin and Jordan were childish an only wanted to make sportscenter and no one on the team liked them.
