Some LAD who are on the disabled list were on the field during the fight--something that's not supposed to happen, probably face discipline.

I didn't see where Mattingly was tossed. He tackled Alan Trammel to the ground and kept going after other people.

I have a few questions for everyone:

Should coaches act that way?

Does this fire the players up and make them think the coaches are on their side or does this show a lack of professionalism on the coaches part?

Because of their participation in the fight should the coaches and managers receive a bigger suspension and fine than the players?

I think most people, including MLB, will feel like these are just old school baseball guys being old school baseball guys.

There is absolutely no excuse for Ian Kennedy throwing at Greinke's face. You already hit Puig in the face. I understand the Dodger's coaches acting the way they did, especially with Greinke and needing him. Would of liked to see Big Mac get his hands on Kennedy.

Exactly...if you throw at heads, you can expect a fight.

And Greinke dont throw at peoples heads, please. This brawl was nothing, before the end of the season, the Dodgers will be in a real brawl, should be fun to watch.

Vin Scully should announce every fight.

Greinke got his. Dude is a punk.

You hit them, they hit you. It's over. Nothing happens if the tool doesn't drill Montero.

Big kudos to Ian Kennedy. I'll take that guy on my team any day.

Puig should get at least 10 games....

Maybe Kennedy shouldn't drill Puig around the head area. Not all HBPs are similar.

You want Kennedy on your team? The same guy that threw at two people's heads? Are you coaching for the local penitentiary team?

If you watched the replays, you could obviously tell the Puig ball got away from him. Watch his and Montero's reactions. No way was he going for his head.

He absolutely threw at Grienke's head and I have zero problem with it.

Grienke is a punk, end of story. They've been involved in two bench clearing brawls this season, both because of that tool. He's going to get himself or teammates hurt (again).

You have zero problem throwing at a player's head? Ok then....

A retaliatory plunking should never be at someone's face. Sometimes you accidentally throw at the head, but it should never be done on purpose. Does Greinke do it? Maybe he does, I don't pay that close of attention to the Dodgers. He'd be wrong for doing it too.

Kennedy did it TWICE. They claim that it was on accident, which I can buy, because you shouldn't do that. But if it's claimed that's in retaliation for hitting Cody Ross, then that's a problem. Greinke came out and did what you're supposed to do, put it between the numbers. Kennedy then intentionally threw at the other pitcher's head. There's no doubting that one. And that, you don't do.

God help Kennedy when he comes to bat the next time he plays the Dodgers. He's getting hit for sure.

Most players? Absolutely have a huge problem with it. Grienke? Absolutely not. Look at the dude's history. He's a punk. Sometimes you gotta teach someone the hard way before they learn.
