Dodgers /Diamondbacks brawl

Don't think the one that hit Puig was intentional either....So they each hit one guy intentionally. How does one get 10 games and the other 0?

The one to Puig looked intentional, maybe not headshot intentional but intentional.

I think it's pretty clear that MLB agrees with the rest of us. Head shots are different than normal HBP's. It's hard to judge intent. All they know is that Kennedy threw at two guys heads.

^So Hamels gets 5 games for intentionally beaning Harper in the back last season, Greinke drills two guys (one he admitted was intentional) and goes unpunished? Yeah, that's the consistency of baseball for ya.

Did Hamels' begin a bench clearing brawl?

Did Hamels' begin a bench clearing brawl?

Even furthers my point. His resulted in nothing and he gets suspended....Greinke's results in a brawl and he gets nothing. Inconsistency.

Kennedy throwing at two guys heads started the brawl. I'm not sure what your obsession with Grienke is but it's only two games for Kennedy. Hinske got the biggest punishment.

Can't explain the Hamels' situation except that maybe the MLB thought he was picking on one of their young, polarizing figures and they wanted to come down hard on him.

I didn't hear Greinke admit to hitting Montero on purpose. But did he say basically it was retaliation for Puig getting hit?

Hamels practically just said "I hit him to hit him". His wasn't a matter of the game policing itself or anything like that. He wanted to "welcome Harper to the bigs."

Different situations, different admissions.

He started the whole thing. Why does everyone keep overlooking that?

Yes or no question....If Grienke doesn't hit Ross, does the brawl ever happen?

He didn't start anything! Ross wasn't intentional.

Puig got hit intentionally, Grienke repays the favor to Montero. It should have been done. But Kennedy then hits Grienke. Brawl.

You may be the only one in America that thinks Grienke started it and Ross was intentional.

And to answer your question, yes it would have happened because Puig and Grienke both got hit in their head regions.

Neither would've been hit at all had Grienke not hit Ross.

Ross was hit unintentionally. I still think Puig gets hit intentionally and the events unfold as they did.

Once again you are the only person in America to think Ross was hit intentionally...oh wait, you don't even think he was hit intentionally... so I fail to see how you are arguing that Puig was retaliation (because that is what you are arguing)

Didn't look that intentional. Hit him in the hand...Problem is, with Grienke's reputation it's always going to be seen as intentional. That's why I keep harping on his history coming into play.

If it wasn't intentional, I would think the Puig beaning would've ended it.
