Everette Golson leaves Notre Dame

Featured Replies

@angdicarlowndu Notre Dame confirms that QB Everett Golson is no longer enrolled at ND. They can't say why due to privacy laws.

Wow.

Word is it was due to a "resident life" violation ie something happened in the dorm.

Down to 3 QBs next season: Rees, Hendrix, and incoming frosh Malik Zaire.

He just tweeted it himself. He was the starter as a freshman last year. I'd expect Rees will start but don't sleep on Zaire, he fits that system the best.

I like the Hendrix kid to start. Starting QB's don't get removed for normal dorm violations. I expect a story on this in the near future.

Wasn't he the starter?

Ok that was my thought as well. But thought to myself surely ND could cover up whatever happened up there.

My thoughts as well. Meanwhile ND is respecting him and "protecting him/them".

Golson's dad says he has no idea what is going on.

Heard it has to do with "cheating" on finals. Good call kid.
