Prob leads to more unnecessary tips.

Apparently they are saying the tree limbs definitely did not come from the area and that they were big enough that any police officer would have stopped to move them.

Not an expert on plant biology, but I wonder if DNA testing could be used to link the limbs to the trees they were cut from?

If say that anyone with a little knowledge of trees could tell what kind of tree and how recent the limbs were cut. Based on one article the KSP is asking about anyone who saw someone cutting trees early morning the day he was killed so they may think they were cut that day.
