When it comes to an attorney defending me I don't really care if people like him.

I would say in some cases and with good reason.

HT, me either, but I can guarantee if I'd ever need one, the only thing that would be of a concern to me is if they could get me out of whatever I was accused of, and I can honestly say I don't think I'd care how they did it either.

So people who are facing potential jail time really sit there and think...."hmm, Attorney A almost never loses, but he's a jerk, so I'm not picking him, I'll go with Attorney B, it's a coin-flip with him, but golly shucks he's a nice guy."

Well I have found it to be very true so hence my statements about him.

Wish I shared your experience. Maybe those with less lucrative cases get less respect from some attorneys, in general. I'll just leave it at that.

 

While I agree, everyone (even the scummiest of the scum) deserves respresentation. Defense attorney is one of the most thankless, difficult jobs out there IMO.

I agree with BF! As I mentioned on here a while back, I called him a couple of times and never got a call back, waited a few weeks Nd called again and mentioned I called before and still waiting for the return call, I never got one.

It is my understanding that the Kroger in Independence doesn't sell gas because of Deters and his full/part ownership in several gas stations in there area. Is that correct?

He actually had me send him a boatload of paperwork. Then he just disappeared. I had been advised to look elsewhere to begin with, and should've taken that advice.

You are correct but it's his dad Charlie that has his hand in that. Eric may be somewhat involved but it's Charlie's show up there.
