May 23, 201313 yr They were talking on Mike & Mike this morning how Lebron showed no emotion after the win last night, compared to Jordan who always showed emotion after big shots. Said LeBron was probably upset that it took a GW layup with 2.2 remaining at home to win Game 1. Either way it seems like he is pretty focused on this series. Mike and mike are just idiots. :lol2: Who cares what emotions he shows?
May 23, 201313 yr I wouldn't expect my middle school kids to be out of position that badly on defense in that situation. How/why he was in the position he was in I don't know. Barkley and all the rest were saying how great a move it was by Lebron...uhhhh, no, sorry. Yes, it was good recognition on his part that George was so out of place and he took advantage of it, but almost any player in the league could have been able to exploit that poor defensive position. And then the weak side help to just let him go up totally unchallenged? In the playoffs you tackle a guy in that situation and make him shoot ft's, nothing less is acceptable.

Also of note, the analysts from last nights game talked about it first I believe, they simply reiterated it.

It was one game and it wasn't even the NBA Finals. They had no business winning that game, that probably explains the excitement. I thought they were done a couple of times, Indy was catching all the breaks in the end (the 3 and free throws from George), it just seemed it was the Pacers night.

George came out and squared up on him like he was going to take a perimeter shot instead of driving. He took a gamble, and it cost them big time. He just didn't want to give Lebron a good look at a jumper or a good look for a pass, by doing so he gave him a wide open lane.

Yes its only game one, but anytime you win a game at the very end or at the buzzer like that you typically will go crazy and be excited even if it was a regular season game. Now with this being the Eastern Conference Finals, and feeling like you just blew the game then of coarse people are going to celebrate after winning like that. Emotion is a huge part in sports, I don't know why people sometimes have a problem with that. They won a great game, its good to be excited. The excitement probably lasted until the locker room, and then probably quickly shifted to game 2. Not a big deal.
