April 26, 201313 yr Just what we needed…a TE….these guys are officially sabotaging the success of this team. OL ILB S RB Are a lot more pressing needs. Congrats to all other teams who play the Bengals. Another added handicap! :taz:

April 26, 201313 yr Gresham has not lived up to his expectations IMO. I like Eifert, athletic and can go up and get it. He will be solid in the Red Zone.
April 26, 201313 yr I think Eifert is going to be a very good player but like Content1 said, that is way down the list of Bengals needs. They need to get a lot better at LB and in the secondary. Can't complain too much I guess. He should be a very good pro.

April 26, 201313 yr Nine more picks for the Bengals. It's a copycat league and not a bad pick in my mind.
April 26, 201313 yr Bad teams draft needs because they have so many. Bengals take the best available and I LOVE it!!!
April 26, 201313 yr Their needs are overstated. They need a safety soon. Other than that... I think Eifert is the kind of guy that if he slides you take him.
April 26, 201313 yr Same question ... who should they have taken? Ogletree, Elam, or possibly traded down.
April 26, 201313 yr Author Same question ... who should they have taken? An OL or LB for starters are more pressing than TE….so best available at either position would have been better.
April 26, 201313 yr The defense is solid, the offense needed the boost. This takes pressure off AJ. In a draft with a lack of stars and more depth in positions we need, I like us using the 2nd round picks on a OL and RB.
April 26, 201313 yr I like the pick. Always take the best talent available unless you have a major need like tackle, QB, DL or maybe a corner. Most other positions are expendable.
April 26, 201313 yr An OL or LB for starters are more pressing than TE….so best available at either position would have been better. Nope. You don't get off that easy. Anyone can whine. Give us a name. What OL should they have taken? What LB?
April 26, 201313 yr They basically came out before the draft and said LB wouldn't be picked in the'! first round. They just signed Rey and Harrison and like Burfict. They are banking on signing Smith obviously. Watson is the top OL. T'eo is top insider backer. Ogletree top Outside.
