Florida State QB Clint Trickett to transfer

tweets have indicated that his destination is a school located somewhere on a street call Fowler Avenue. He has history with Coach T. Taggart recruited him when at Stanford.

After what I witnessed at the spring game, I've got my fingers crossed, but not counting on anything. If Stoops gets him in Lexington, I will be delighted.

BTW. From what I understand, he has 2 years of eligibility left.

If Kentucky is in the mix that concerns me that the coaches don't think they have enough talent at QB which is said to be a strength going into the season. That could be me over thinking but it makes you wonder.

He'll end up going where he can play right away. IMHO, the best shot for that is at USF.

He's got Paul Millard and Ford Childress to compete with at WVU, Max Smith, Patrick Towles, and Jalen Whitlow at Kentucky, and Bobby Eveld and Matt Floyd at USF. I guarentee you, the weakest competition is the pair at the end.

As a FSU fan, I'm sorry to see him leave, but Winston is 10x better than him. Clint is a pocket passing QB, he is tall and skinny. Has a strong arm and is a smart FBALL player (dad is legend Oline and current Oline coach at fsu). He could really help UK if he comes here. From all I've seen and heard its USF or WVU. He grew up in WV when his dad was coaching there.
