April 9, 201313 yr Loved the pace and the fury throughout the game. Both teams played with high intensity and at times reckless abandon. The officials on the other hand failed to match that level. Michigan seemed overwhelmed by the pace in the second half. UL just kept bringing it! Congrats to the Cards and their fans.

" :lol2: yeah, he drives me crazy with his corny sayings, not only at college basketball but at other events such as the Masters. I remember after Arizona beat UK in overtime in the 1997 championship game him saying," And Simon says national championship", referring to Arizona guard Miles Simon.
April 9, 201313 yr Is it just me or did anyone else get the impression that Clark Kellogg couldn't hide his Big 10 bias last night with his game analysis. It seemed to me he was openly pulling for Michigan. In my opinion CBS could do a lot better than Kellogg in their high profile games.

I thought him and Kerr were a little more openly critical of the officiating than they are suppose to be. These guys sure beat the heck out of Billy Packer.

April 9, 201313 yr ...was not as good as Montrezl Harrel dunk. Both were nasty. Harrell reminded me of Anthony Davis last year against UL when he caught it behind his head. Dieng wanted no part of contesting Hardaway.
April 9, 201313 yr ...was not as good as Montrezl Harrel dunk. Both were great, but I'm with Original Rookie on this. Harrell's dunk was great in that Siva made a poor pass and the kid had to travel so far to grab it and slam it in, but Hardaway went through traffic and absolutely slammed it home. I didn't get to see SC top 10, but both have to be top 3.
April 9, 201313 yr I was shocked at Siva's ability to get above the rim on the second alley oop/weakside pass off the screeen to him. Did not realize he could elevate like that especially late in a game where he has been pressing and running around like crazy. The one stat line of his that was huge was his 6 rebounds, most in the second half.
