April 9, 201313 yr Regardless of your team allegiance not many states get to say our universities one the last two...proud to be a KENTUCKIAN! Had this subject come up on the bus this morning. One guy (a UL fan) asked, "I wonder if two different schools from the same state ever won back to back titles. Of course, I chimed in. "Well, off the top of my head, '60 and '61, Ohio State and Cincinnati, '92 and '93, Duke and North Carolina and '09 and '10 North Carolina and Duke." After researching to make sure, I can't believe I forgot '82 and '83, North Carolina and NC State. Can't believe no one bit on my "Pencil Indiana in to win it in 2014" comment from before.
