Lot of quality out today, of the four-legged and two-legged variety. Not much in the way of winners for this guy, unfortunately. Great scenery, though.

 

I went for the first time Saturday. Very impressive scenery. Lots of talent out there.

Been twice this year and haven't won a single race. About how it goes every year.

I did pretty well Saturday. I had 4 winners and a couple of small exactas. Basically made up for what I lost Friday.

I'm SO GLAD I had a table in the Equestrian Room Saturday! It looked miserable out in the paddock area and out by the track.

What was Saturday's attendance figure? Felt like about 20K yesterday.

 

Checked it and they said yesterday's was 18,325, so I was sorta close. It said Saturday's was 37K. I would have been miserable, for sure.

I won one pretty nice bet Saturday. It paid just over $75. Won two other smaller ones and crapped out on 5 races. When all was said and done, I saw two college girls naked, drank a few beers, had a great time and didn't go broke. I'd call that a winning day.

Should've mentioned that I got to hang out and catch up with some great friends, too :thumb:

Naked ladies and gambling was enough for me.

Alright, took my 6-year old to the track for his first time today. I did 2 days of research on horses, jockeys and trainers and placed bets based on that. He picked out names he like, colors and numbers and I placed bets on that.

 

I probably came out about +$40-50 or so. He won +$225 and picked winning horses in 4-of-6 races today.

 

So there you go...

 

I was there yesterday as well, a little chilly but it was a great day.

I came out $1.40 ahead on the day this past Saturday. :lol2:

I'm going on Friday. I can't wait!!!

I won $242 today just betting on Joel Rosario.

Joel Rosario has 4 wins and Place on opening night at Churchill, including a win the Derby Trial. I have turned $100 into $251.50 just betting on him. I have him in one more race.

 

I recommend hopping on the train if you like to bet. He has finished in the money in 38 of his last 41 races.

Holy crap! He won the last race too!
