Who are you talking about at Boone? Do you mean Tony Leroy? I hear he may be six foot tall but is no where near 200lbs and hasn't played a down of football in his life. Either way, I agree, get him out for football. And while Coach Griffith is at it, get Junior Stockwell out for football. Junior is probably 6'3" 230 and very athletic. And I talked to Junior today and recruited him. He didn't tell me no.

While minimal LeRoy has played 3 years of football in the BC Pee wee league but was turned off by some of his treatment by a couple of coaches there. Granted its not HS ball but the young man is an athlete and undoubtly the fastest player in the school. He wanted to play wide receiver but felt there was no need since BC ran the ball 95% of the time.

 

Regardless of size he could help BC if he decided to play. D1 colleges wouldn't be trying to contact him if they didnt think he could play. He can run and he can catch.

According to the BG website there is no OC listed so I would think that is a safe assumption.

Now, they might have a "coordinator" listed (more of a resume builder tag than anything), but the boss hog is actually the one doing the coordinating (again, at least on one side).

Interesting. There are a couple of names going through my head right now of "could be's", but based off nothing more than connecting dots.

We get to meet the Coach Thursday night and I assume we will learn more.
