Kentucky Indiana Junior All-Stars Invitations

Featured Replies

Was surprised that Tyler Carr from Grant Co. didn't get a shot. One of the best in the 8th region this year. Helton over Moeves from Walton?

Congratulations to the kids who get a chance to make the team.

I was also surprised that Carr didn't get an invite. He is one of the best in the 8th and in my opinion, he should have gotten the invite. And also confused how Helton was picked over Moeves.

Yes that's them. They're labeling them KY Travelers I think but it's the TN Travelers group. I don't know if they're creating an additional 17U team or just expanding the base of players by adding a location in KY. These EYBL teams are limited on the number of out-of-state players they can Roster.

There is no longer a Tennessee Travelers team. Strictly the KY version...

Congratulations to the 42 boys on the list. Great honor.

Leaving Sanford,Thomas and Longacre off that's crazy!! Fairdale has been in the top ten all year in the ranking but they are saying not one kid on this team is good enough for Junior or Senior tryouts!

I've not seen Carr play but you will not get many allstar invites playing Grants schedule. I wonder if the list was out before or after the Oldam game. Helton over Mavis was probably the fact he is 6ft.5. Don't know about Carr, but Mavis probably isn't quick enough to score against the bigger, quicker guards in the state.

Thank you madman! (Never thought I would say that lol) Not disappointed, Tyler has surgery Monday and will be out 4-6 weeks. Couldn't have tried out any way.

No mention of Jake Schulte from NCC or Drew Burns from Brossart. Helton over both of these guys, absurd with year they have both had. Also, no Zach McNeil from Cooper. Some great names on the list but also some fair names on the list and to leave these 3 off is leaving off some great talent.

Burns and McNeil are not good enough for this squad. Schulte could be, you'd have a better argument there.

Hope everything goes well and he comes back as strong as ever. He's a player! I hope he plays well this summer and has a great senior year.

I like all 3 of them but this JR class is loaded this year. I certainly do not know all of the players selected but none of those 3 would make the final cut (and they're good).

And when talking about the Indiana series and this being the class for KY to make a move, the three best players in the game will still be on the other bench...

Name them. Jalen Coleman?

Name them. Jalen Coleman?

Coleman is 2015, and probably the 4th or 5th best kid in the state in that class. Lyle, Lyles and Bluiett are all quite a bit ahead of any kid in KY except Snider. I'd for sure take Lyle and Lyles over Q, and it is very close with Bluiett...

Some of the guards you name can shoot it but who are they going to guard.
