Congrats to everyone being considered. Especially to the local (yes, I consider Fleming County to be local) quartet - Bach, Burns, Steward and Shawn Johnson.

And to Trentman from BB!!!!

I have to disagree with you regarding Carr playing out of position. He's exactly where he needs to be. There's no way he is a point guard. He's a scorer not a ball handler and playmaker/floor general.

Agree, much like McNeil at Cooper, his stats were down this year but he scored off movement without the ball in his hands all the time, making other players better around him.he wasn't selfish at WV that's just how they allowed him to play.

I seen Grant play once this year and Carr looked good. Who is he playing with this summer? As for the Ky - IN Jr All Stars - the selection team misses solid players every year. Once you get the politics out of it maybe Ky can start beating IU again. Thoughts? Feedback welcome:

Tyler is playing for Western Kentucky Elite. He will be out 4-6 weeks as he had surgery Monday for a torn meniscus. As far as players being left out, it happens every year. I agree we will never beat Indiana as long as players are selected the way they are now. Indiana doesn't do it why should we think our way is best when they beat Kentucky year in year out.

The best players don't always get to go.

I don't think we would beat Indiana regularly regardless of how we picked. They are normally more talented than even our best possible 12. I do agree that we don't always send our best possible 12 players or even the best possible team.

This year's junior class is our best chance at victory.

I hate to beat a dead horse but I seen tapes of Carr, McNeil, and Moeves in live games and it appears their best attribute is scoring the ball and on this years allstar squad none of the three would be anywhere close to the top 3 options on offense and I really believe all 3 would really struggle on defense, especially Moeves.

OK we get it, but you seem to be making more of this than anybody else by going on and on. My kid will never play in the NBA or high major but you know what there are schools calling and the bottom line is that's what it is all about! Yes the recognition is nice but that and a $1.06 may get you a cup of coffee at McDonald's. I have watched all 3 kids (Carr, Moeves and McNeil) and they all deserve a chance. I have also seen a lot of the kids on the list and yes they deserve a chance. Congratulations TO ALL that were selected.

Wrong person. I know absolutely nothing about Carr, McNeil and Moeves. I was just making a general blanket statement.

I agree.

I agree with you on some points and I do think that Carr and McNeil will play at some level in college, they both seem to be very competitive.

So did we figure out who picked these kids?

This will basically be the Louisville Magic team with Hatton, Grundy, Green, Martin, and Snider. Add Jackson Davis and a couple other guys........

LOADED.

Loaded indeed

Also, does anyone know when the games are?

I looked for the old thread with list of invites, but couldn't find it. Please merge if needed.

It is voted on by any coach, including assistants, that are up to date paid members of the KABC.
