Monday night games at NKU

 

Newport (20-10) / Dixie (17-13)

Ryle (12-17) / Cov Cath 25-6)

 

Tuesday night games at NKU

 

Cooper (23-5) / St. Henry (10-15)

NewCath (30-2) / Holmes 28-2)

 

Who ever comes out of the bottom half will be "battle tested" for sure.

Im rooting for Holmes, but if they can't do it, I want to see Cooper make it. A Holmes grad leading a team to Rupp would be awesome.

CovCath got exactly what they wished for. Bottom half is brutal, top 3 out of 4 teams in the 9th region. Should be a great tournament.

If NewCath wants to prove that they are #1 in the Region, then there is no better way to prove it. Beat 2, 3, and4. That would be heck of a run. Time to go up one more rung on the ladder.

Boys QFs - Mon. (Feb 25) & Tues (Feb 26) starting at 6:30pm each evening

Girls QFs - Wed (Feb 27) & Fri (Mar 1) starting at 6:30pm each evening

Boys SFs - Sat (Mar 2) starting at 12pm

Girls SFs - Sun (Mar 3) starting at 12pm

Boys Finals - Sun (Mar 3) starting at 6pm

Girls Finals - Mon (Mar 4) starting at 7pm

(Of course this is just for poops and giggles) Then if the Tourney was seeded:

 

1. NewCath vs 8. St. Henry

4. Cooper vs 5. Dixie

 

3. CovCath vs 6. Newport

2. Holmes vs 7. Ryle

Sure would be nice if they seeded, but if you're a basketball fan it doesn't get better than a Newcath/Holmes rematch, regardless of when it happens.
