NCC wins the Region, they are just superior to the other 7 teams in the tournament. Good luck getting past the first round in Rupp, tough draw.

I said a month ago I thought either NCC or Cooper would win the region as they have multiple scorers inside and out and grind it on defense that enables them to win "ugly" at times. Either way, it should be a battle coming out of the lower bracket.

Newcath lost to Covcath at home, although it was without Seibert and beat Holmes in double OT after Pangallo hit a last second shot to send the game to OT. Also beat Cooper by 2 with Cooper missing half of their starting lineup.

 

I'm a huge NCC fan because of their players but I don't see how you can say they are CLEARLY the best team in the region. Favorite to win the region? Absolutely. Clear Favorite? No.

 

Seibert played in the Cov Cath game if my memory serves me correct. He got hurt and was not in the game in the final minutes. He played and it made no difference.

Seibert played into the 3rd quarter. It was about a 5 pt game when he left.

Your statements shows you don't know what you are talking about. First of all the 6'8" kid plays the 4, and the 6'5" football player is the 5 (bigger than 5'8"). McNeil does not play football, strike 2. And the 6'5" kid took 2 years off of football to play basketball, is he really a football player? strike 3 . You're out.

Newcath had a 6 pt lead when Seibert went out. We all know the ending. Ruthsatz also didn't do much until Seibert went out of the game. Seibert's length bothered him a lot.

Having a 6'6 kid and a bunch of 5'8 kids worked pretty well for Boone last year.
