I find this whole thing rather amusing to be quite honest. They have four kids coming next year? From where? Are they the next recruiting class? As bad a shape as the Newport school system was in and may still be for all I know, I cannot imagine that this really goes over very well. And what happens to these 4 kids when Rod Snapp up and leaves for a better situation than Newport? That day will be here sooner rather than later I am afraid.

I have seen this stated by a few different posters. Why is it the feeling of some that he is destined to leave soon? I have no hidden answer myself I am just curious....................And well truth be told the CPS students test scores cannot possibly drag the system any lower than they already are..............................

Sure he would like to go somewhere that might be a little more stable than Newport is at the current time and perhaps somewhere that he can contend for a regional title.

Not under Snapp's watch number 1. All were Newport kids except for Foster. They had a pretty good team already and he just pushed them over the top.

careful when talking the student side of student athlete if you aren't from Highlands or Beechwood (top) 2 and 3 in the state. CPS has Walnut Hills top 25 in nation, and last time I saw an article on 25 private schools on both sides of the river (catholic, christain, all private) NCC was in the bottom 3 with regards to ACT, AP classess and other categories...do your research.....OUCH

Here is a really good trick for "no ice" on your windshield in the mornings.

 

Take 4 ozs of Comet cleanser and mix with 8 ozs of mineral seed oil, bring it to a paste, put in the refrigerator (not freezer) overnite.

Now the key is timing and I havent been able to figure this one out yet.

 

Take a paint brush and brush paste evenly over windshield and I guarantee no ice in the morning when you wake up.

 

BTW, I like to pull my car in the garage and do this so Iam not cold when applying the paste...:thumb:

Sounds like it might be easier to just scrape the windows or maybe just leave the car in the garage overnight. Thats the one that usually works best for me.
