I have been defending it. You said my logic was flawed. I'm still waiting for someone with definitive evidence that CovCath should be higher than LexCath or Lafayette. I can't even find out from you Cincy experts how good Roger Bacon is.

 

I still think CovCath's schedule is crap. Hell, theoldguy mentioned they played GRC. You don't brag about playing GRC this year you forget it happened(sorry, Goldie). Every good team he mentioned they lost to and those other teams he mentioned aren't worth mentioning. They didn't even get a signature win until last weekend. My fault. They didn't beat a ranked Ky team until last weekend and they beat that team by 2. Does LexCath have a signature win over a ranked Ky team anymore than CovCath? Nope. But they did beat Dunbar by 27 points and considering Dunbar is one of the 'on the radar teams' like CovCath is that is an impressive win and gave them the nod over CovCath for the #20 spot.

Amen...love my boys, but real; rebuilding year for them.

I discuss. I'm from the 12th region and I think Pulaski County and Wayne County could possibly be better than CovCath.

I'd scratch Johnson Central off this list and keep Male.

You may be right. Who knows. What , though, would you base that on?

 

Pure gut assumption and opinion. Pulaski has put together a pretty good schedule this year but is still searching for a good signature win but has played some good teams pretty good. Much like CovCath. Lost to Station by 10. Lost to Scott County by 6. Lost to Wayne County by 2. Play Bullitt East in the next week or so and BE will destroy them. Beat Southwestern twice by double digits is their best wins and we have found out that Southwestern was overrated as well so those wins are deflated in value. Can they beat CovCath or better than them? Possibly. They are a good team. An argument can be made for both teams IMO.

 

Wayne County has been the surprise of the 12th Region and has beaten both Pulaski and Southwestern who many thought were the best two teams in the 12th. Wayne has some head scratching losses so while they may deserve statewide recognition for who they have beaten and how their season has gone their losses say otherwise so it's hard for me to accurately say just how good they are compared to other teams across the state. They are good enough to beat Pulaski County.

I would too. Just showing the list of teams that one could argue to be in those 15-20 spots. Even taking JC off still leaves so many teams to choose from for those last 5 spots.

You can't deny that a 'good signature win' helps. It helps tremendously when wading the muddy waters of 15-20. And yes, LexCath's thrashing of Dunbar helped them this week.

And the Dunbar that beat Lafayette, Bryan Station and lost to Henry Clay by 3 on a last second shot. And Taft beat them by 2 points. LexCath beat them by 27.
