Final

Shocker !!!!!

Another stunner, especially the margin of victory.

Camels played with no urgency or heart, with Holbrook out and McGovney at about 75%. They failed to compete tonight. Congrats to the Rebels for grinding one out.

Boone County has won 7 of their last 8 with their only loss to Holy Cross. What is going on that turned it around?

I forgot Holbrook was out, that is huge loss for Camels.

Not taking anything away from Boone, but Campbell County and Mason County both were missing key players.

I'm not shocked. About what I expected. The young BCH has been learning from their weaknesses and figuring out how to get it done. An incomplete Campbell County is well...an incomplete Campbell County.

I hear you about Campbell Co., but they just beat Conner a couple nights ago. Tonight Boone gets them by 14. Boone is doing something right. So what got Boone on this 7-1 run in their last 8?

Don't under estimate one of the top coaches in NKY. He gets almost no respect.

I agree. I said at the start of the year that it would be a heck of a coaching job to be at .500 with the group he has this year. If he gets to 15 wins he should be coach of the year.

Not taking anything away from Boone, but

Truth #97,291: When someone starts out their comment "Not taking anything away from..." what follows next is them taking something away from.

Reading my mind. I was just getting ready to post about the coaching by Coach McQ.

Agree 100% on Coach McQ. He is a very fine coach and makes very good in-game adjustments and calls a lot of great plays out of time outs. Great job by Boone players and Staff this year so far.

Congratulations to the Rebels. Camels couldn't buy a basket last night. Don't know what their shooting % was, but it was low. With that, it looked as though they became hesitant to take a shot. :idunno:
