Awful shooting night for Brossart.

 

One team showed up in the fourth quarter and the other didn't.

Big upset. That is Brossart's first loss to a KY school, isn't it? Holy Cross is putting their game together.

HC did a really good job guarding Justin Saunders. Don't remember hearing his name in the entire second half.

Campbell dominated the game early. He rode a lot of pine later in the game due to 4 fouls. Knockleman had a great 4th quarter.

Saunders must have been injured, he sat on the pine, but not for foul trouble. Brossart did not shoot very well tonight. They seemed lethargic.

Campbell with 20 points. Saunders and Trentman combined for only 10 points. Great 4th quarter for the Cross.

A lot of turnovers too. Very uncharacteristic for Brossart. Uebel fouled out with about 5 minutes to play in the game and thats when things began to dismantle for Brossart. Credit Holy Cross, the press is tough to deal with at the Finn. Hope to see these two play again in Frankfort.

After watching the Campbell/Brossart game the other night I would have thought Brossart to be the favorite even though is was a Home game for the Cross. The game was close until the 4th quarter.

Holy Cross is now 3-0 against teams currently ranked in the 10th Region top 5.

I believe the tough schedule HC has played is starting to pay off.

The officials were awful tonight.

HC can get after the ball defensively if they want to. Plus they can be extra aggressive knowing the big boy is behind them.

 

Congrats to the Tribe. They are much better than I expected.
