From what I've read, the movie is caught up in legal red tape. It was supposed to be released in November but legal stuff has held it up.
January 2, 201313 yr What does everyone think of 3D? I am sure I am in the minority, but I can take it or leave it. If I had a choice, I would just stick with 2D. I just saw the Hobbit in 3D. It was my first 3D movie since the mid 70s. I didn't mind it at all.

January 3, 201313 yr By the way....Clooney is directing a movie that he's hoping to have out by the end of 2013 called The Monument's Men. Cast includes Clooney, John Goodman, Cate Blanchett, Daniel Craig, Bill Murray, and Paul Giamatti. It's supposed to be about American art historians trying to recover artworks stolen by the Nazis during WWII. There's also an upcoming French movie called Maltavita starring Robert DeNiro, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Tommy Lee Jones about a mafia family in the French witness protection family that sounds like it could be intriguing.

January 4, 201313 yr Monuments Men was a wonderful book. Very surprising. A real life National Treasure.
