January 2, 201313 yr The 25 most anticipated movies of 2013 | Movie Talk - Yahoo! Movies A lot of movies I'm looking forward to in this list. I'm not a Superman fan, but having Christopher Nolan involved in Man of Steel will cause me to watch it. The first Hunger Games movie was really good, so I'm looking forward to the second. Monster's University should be good. Loved Monsters, Inc. I didn't even know they were making World War Z, so I'm looking forward to that. The Lone Ranger looks like it has potential. So does that M. Night Shyamalan film with Will Smith & his son. Which of these films (or others) are you looking forward to?

January 2, 201313 yr Of that list I'm easily looking forward to The Great Gatsby the most. I am 70/30 on that one. It looks great but Baz Luhrmann is kind of like Tim Burton for me. He can be stunningly brilliant as a director, but he can also be too into his own shtick of being a "kooky artist" for his own good.

But I think Leo is a perfect casting and I love the book.

Also my inner 8 year old is going to probably make me watch GI Joe and I'm sure a few others will get a Blu-Ray rental. But besides Gatsby nothing is really jumping out at me. Not like 2012 when I KNEW I had to see the last Batman and Django.

Even though her constant viewings of Oz are partially to blame for my dislike of it. But the trailer DID look intriguing.
