I doubt it happens but you never know what our government or powerful people will do to keep and maintain power. But it is a DIRE prediction. This ain't the 1930s anymore, it is an ever changing America that keeps getting worse each year.

Your scenario is close to the plot of a good book I read called "Wild Fire." It was about a group of those inside and outside of the govt who were looking for a reason to use the nuclear bomb on an enemy country. They got the govt and the country behind them by stating attacks INSIDE the US.
