I don't think any of the three are. The only top 20 game Covcath has played, they lost. That alone is a sign they aren't top 10.

 

I think all three are likely in the 12-20 range. I'd have Butler and Madison Central both ahead of Covcath....and St X already beat the Colonels.

 

Covcath and Newcath will have a chance to prove they belong. As much as I like Holmes, unfortunately for them, the games against Covcath Brossart, and Newcath will be the only chances they have to see how they stack up against other top 20 teams.

And from what I've seen, I'd probably put Holmes and Newcath ahead of the Colonels as well.

 

Fortunately for us, we will know in a week who is better...Holmes or Covcath.

The No. 1 seed will have an easy game against Sayre. Right now, Henry Clay -- based off the 10-point win over Scott County in the Woodford County Invitational -- appears to have the inside track on that, although Friday's Henry Clay - Scott County will go a long way in determining the district regular season No. 1 seed.

I think SC will beat HC on Friday...then things will even up somewhat...still think HC will fall in the tourney...IMO

I have nothing against HC.....they are just very overrated every year and never produce come tourney time...

How can you look at their results so far this season and say they are overrated?

 

How can you look at their results last season and say they are overrated? In a win or go home setting anything can happen and I don't think an early tourney loss or even a deep tourney run should be the standard of assessing how good a team is.

All teams are assessed by the tourney production, or at least teams that have visions past regular season wins...HC hasn't produced past the regular season in several years so I say, let's see if you can win when it counts the most and I don't think things will be any different this year....

So no one judges a team on their regular season performance? And why is THIS Henry Clay team bad because others didn't have postseason success that was suitable to you?
