January 1, 201313 yr I typically try not to 2nd guess coaches on any level, b/c hindsight is always 20/20, but the decision(s) to throw it, TWICE when he only needed two yards might be THE dumbest coaching move I have ever seen. That absolutely blew my mind. If you could name a handful of teams in college football that you could bank on getting TWO yards in TWO plays by rushing the ball, LSU is one of them. Mind blowing. I'm not really a fan of either, although I love how LSU plays by running it right at you, throwing the deep ball when they go to the air and playing great defense, but I just can't make any sense of what the heck was going through his or Kragthorpe's head.

January 1, 201313 yr The Mad Hatter strikes again. Yep. Out coached himself last night. Great game and Boyd was the best player all night despite being pummeled. First season in which Clemson did not fully go belly-up. They are always loaded with talent but find ways to lose.

January 1, 201313 yr I normally pull for the SEC team in these games but last night was an exception. Clemson is not my favorite team or anything like that but I do like Dabo Sweeny. Clemson never quit, kept playing hard. Les Miles gambling did imo hurt his team on their last drive. Having said that should those pass plays would had went then game over and Miles would look great. Clemson couldn't have been expecting LSU to come out throwing the ball on that last series. LSU didn't execute and Clemson took advantage, drove the ball for a winning fg via some excellent play calls and making the plays they had to make. Great football game.
