With Houston losing and Denver and New England winning, Houston falls to the #3 seed. Game time has yet to be set. Thoughts?

If Houston continues to play the way they have as of late, I feel like Cincinnati's chances are good. Either way, I anticipate a close game.

Game will be Saturday at 4:30.

The Bengals offense precludes me from picking the Bengals.

I'm with Clyde. The offense has been in a funk for quite some time but Houston hasn't been too hot lately. Honestly I think it's the best case scenario for Cincinnati. New England would blow them out and Baltimore at home isn't a pleasant place either.

Texans 35 Bengals 17

Texans have a lot more reliable offense than the Bengals and for that reason it'd be easier for them to get out of any kind of funk.

Schaub + Johnson + Foster > Dalton + Ellis + Green

Houston's offensive line hasn't been blocking for Schaub well at all; considering the defensive line that the Bengals have has to be making them lick their chops. I do agree that Houston's offense is better overall, but they haven't looked anything like they did in the earlier part of the season.

Houstons offense may be better, but they will be also going against the Bengals defense.

Last year the talk was the Bengals had not beaten a playoff team or a team with a winning record. This year the bengals are 2 and 2 against teams in the playoffs, and have won 3 games against teams with a winning record. Now is that as impressive as some other teams, not at all however it is an improvement. The one thing I really like is the fact the Bengals are going into these playoffs hot for the first time, and the team they are playing have been going down hill. It usually has been the opposite way for the Bengals lately in the playoffs.

Now the Texans are a good team and when they are clicking they are one of the best teams in the NFL. However the Bengals are playing really well right now, and a Bengals victory will come down to how Dalton plays. If he plays well the Bengals win IMO, if the does not then they don't. Any kind of run in the playoffs will depend on how Dalton plays.

Still very excited and looking forward to Saturday!
