No way! He likes his gig at Cooper and would not consider the pay cut required.

Would Coach Wagner need to take a job in the building at NewCath to make that happen? Wasn't that a factor when Coach Eviston was hired? I would foresee it being very difficult to teach at one school and be the head coach at another.

I would think Wags would consider teaching up on the hill. His son is almost through college and he could possibly retire from Cambell County and double dip.

Campbell Co may have something to say about Wagner teaching at their middle school and coaching on the hill. Eighth grade is where a whole lot a kids are makings decision on which high school to attend and I think coach Lickert might have a problem with a fox in his hen house. I sure would if I were in his shoes.

No one has mentioned the possibility of Jeff Barth from Walton. I know he is happy there but being from Ft Thomas, he'd be a great fit at New Cath. Is Wagner a lock?

I don't think Coach would be interested unless it was Highlands. Also I believe Ncc is not in the same retirement system for teachers.

From what I've gathered we should not assume Eddie was using NC as a stepping stone.

 

His role, if I understand correctly, was something to do with raising funds for the campaign. Campaign is over, correct? No more need for a fundraiser at a school that is rumored to be having tough financial times.

 

Maybe Eddie took the new gig out of need.

Dan Wagner? He's been their DC since 2000. He's been a huge part of the program and ias decade of success.

Really? If they were that worried about it, why didn't they give him the Campbell county job when it was open a few years ago?
